The City of Vandalia was dealing with maintaining facility uptime in the face of aging equipment in most of their major buildings. The loss of cooling during the summer of 2021 highlighted the need to act upon a growing list of aging facility issues. The City understood residents’ expectation that buildings be open and fully functional and used this project to update infrastructure into more modern, efficient, and resident-friendly facilities.
