Anaerobic digestion doesn’t just allow for resource recovery during the wastewater treatment process, it can also contribute to economic development by providing new revenue to municipal treatment plants and supporting local industry. ESG’s project with the City of Oneida helped keep a major local business in the area and can also support future industry by providing direct connections to the wastewater plant.
